tioman trip!
hi peeps! after disappearance for 4 days, i'm finally back! the adventure trip was great! how i wish there were more adventures and exciting things rather than whole day doing the same thing.. well, the very first morning, woke up @ 4.30 and started preparing for stuffs... i kanjiong la.. muz wake up early so tat i wun be late.. rush here and there, thinking tat i would forget to bring this or that.. briefly checked my things, and went to wash up.. bathe in cold water in the middle of the nite leh! coz didnt want to wake dad and mum up and there is only water heater in their room.. anyway, itz ok.. i enjoyed the cooling water which i seldom will do tat.. dad woke up b4 i left the house and told me to be careful.. feel so warmth.. went out of the house @ around 5.20am and went to grab a cab.. no idea y no cab see me sia.. so angry.. got 3 empty ones juz zoom pass me lor.. at that very moment, i tot tat i was invincible... whhahahaa! suddenly rmb tat i forgot my specs.. i run back home to grab my specs and when i reach back, i got 1 cab le.. so happy.. called up hui and took cab to her place to pick her up. we reach sch very fast.. guess should be becoz the road is rather empty.. the cab fare isnt ex either.. hui paid for it.. we reach sch real early, it is like 20mins b4 6am.. only got 1 gal who came a little bit b4 us.. the whole atrium is dark and there is a cat there.. i really scared of cats.. itz true.. some fears which was developed since childhood.. when the cat is near, i will shout de.. anyway, good tat the cat did not come near... instead, it keeps chasing tat girl who came b4 us.. we sat there for awhile, and left to go to the place where every1 is. they gave us a light blue colour t-shirt, which looks like factory worker shirt and made us wear it on the spot.. hai~~ then waited for hakim and jerine.. both of them came last.. aiyo.. they really noe how to make good use of time to slp.. came only @ 6.30am! me and hui should have done wat they do.. whahhaha! then we travel in a kuku coach.. we reach msia le, change bus and got into a more comfy looking coach.. me and jerine rush to go into the last seat coz 5 seats ma.. then the worst came.. the bumpy road in msia keeps lifting us off the seats.. those who wants to slp cant slp @ all.. too bumpy and some times even makes us feel like flying off the seats.. we cant stop laughing.. finally we reach the jetty which will bring us to pulau sibu. dunno wat place is it.. but we reach there 5+ hrs later.. our butts so painful when we reach there.. whahaha! the boat ride to sibu took us 1 hr.. the boat there is terrible.. it is so shaky.. the water @ sibu is also not clean.. the resort is dirty and even the locks are spoilt.. rather disappointed.. but i keep thinking tat, ya, i only spent 130bucks on this 4days 3 nights trip, so dun be so picky.. went to have lunch and the food were oredi prepared for us.. ok la, even thou it is rather oily and some food are a little to salty, still acceptable.. after tat, we left for the island which we will be going to snokel. it was raining a bit but tat didnt dampen our spirit coz we have been wondering how fun snokelling would be.. good tat the rian ended quite fast.. the boat ride is about 40mins to tat island and there is a beach there, where we can pick up seashells and walk about. we snokel quite awhile and the fishes there were quite colourful, small and big fishes everywhere. it isnt very deep.. and i'm afraid of the sea creature which hv lots of spikes sticking out. forgot its name oredi.. anyway, i came very close to it.. but i shiver when i'm near.. coz i scared if it pokes me, my whole trip will be totally gone.. went to pick up some seashells with jer and hui.. i dun intend to save some for myself.. coz i dunno who to give also.. there were quite a number of nice ones.. after tat, we took the boat back to sibu island where our resort is and dinner is served.. its bbqed dinner where we dun have to bbq food ourselves and juz take any amount you want. shin and kim eat alot.. really amazing appetite.. guess most guys are liddat ba.. the 5 of us in the end decided to go down to the beach and sit around.. the breeze there is nice, the scenery there seems rather errie but peaceful.. took some pictures of the scary looking moon, hiding behind the mountain.. we were suppose to meet @ the area to play some games but we were late.. coz we always want to have our own time.. played some really lame games and had fun actually tricking tat pervertic teacher.. whahaha! kim demands for his water camera coz the prize for the first game is a camera but we didnt manage to win it.. we only won the 2nd and third game.. after tat, shin and kim played more games with some of our team mates while hui, jer and me went back to the room, bathe and after tat, jer went to slp.. me and hui came out to appreciate the wind and scenery.. shin and kim were trying to be funny.. they went to disturb the girls next door by making sounds and knocking on their doors and do stuns which makes them think that there is a ghost there.. me and hui of course didnt want out friends to get into trouble. so we act innocent, listen to CDs and pretend to be very deep into our conversation. when the ppl from tat room came over and ask us whether there are ppl who disturb us, we say no.. act blur.. whahaha! we see them do all the stupid things and itz really funny!! i called up mum to tell her that i'm safe here.. her M-card really going to expire soon.. i wanted to use more, but then, reception was bad. so hang up lor.. called the second time and didnt talk much too.. after tat, we went to slp.. i feel floaty when i slp, like i'm on the boat.. a not very tiring day actually.. tat's only day 1.. haha...
the next morning, jer woke up quite early and when she came back to bed, i woke up.. went back to slp again and hui went out to take some scenery pics, watch the sunrise.. alone.. my alarm rang and i jump up.. woke jer up and went to wash up.. went to the guy's room and found out tat shin havent woke up.. it is like 7.30am oredi.. we were suppose to be eating breakfast then.. nvm.. we waited for shin and kim to get ready and its oredi 7.45am liddat. we were the last to go and have breakfast.. itz ok la.. rather anti-social group.. whahaha! meet @ the same area and we left to go to tioman.. the pervious nite was too scary.. didnt like sibu... felt tat it is a waste of time and glad tat we left fast.. but, we were delayed for an hr becoz of the rain.. hai~ nvm, itz ok.. so long as we dun have to go back to the room can liao.. the four of them really can slp.. go where also muz take a nap.. on boat also take nap.. we took bus from sibu tat jetty to mersing, which is around 1.5hrs ride. as usual.. shin, kim and jer slp.. the boat ride from mersing jetty to pulau tioman is about 2 hrs.. we took the boat there, and surprisingly, it is very smooth, smoother than the bus we took and when it starts moving, u wun really feel it.. i couldnt slp on the boat.. it's too cold in there.. aircon some more.. so high class.. i was shivering all over.. and finally, when we reach there, i havent turn into a snowman.. whahaha! the resort is so beautiful! compare to sibu, tioman is really so so so great! but nothing beats singapore definitely.. i simply miss singapore.. had lunch there, and tat is the most fantastic lunch i have in the whole trip.. i like the calamari!! ate a bit more than usual tat day when @ tioman.. went back to room and change and went for canoeing.. we wanted to go trekking first.. but anyway, canoe first then canoe first lor.. me and kim 1 boat.. he keep bullying me.. hai~ hit my head with tat canoe stick, canoe to the very far far place where makes me scared tat it will capsize.. actually, i dunno i scared wat leh... mayb scared my slippers drop ba.. coz i can swim wat... quite fun when we canoe far far.. with waves, its even more fun! we all lazy to trek back.. so in the end, we went to take the boat back.. it moves very slowly sia.. and we were damn bored.. some fell aslp on the shaky boat.. dunno how they do it de.. haha! then went back to the room, where we bathe and slack around for quite some time.. and went for dinner.. ate really little.. the teacher keep on saying tat we nv eat.. we got eat lor! and i always eat so much more than hui and jer.. we went to buy some tidbits, souvenirs and food stuff.. tat day, 3 of us spend around 150 bucks liddat liao wor.. even bought bananas! coz we want to eat ma.. slack in the room, didnt went for the games session.. haaha.. and they played a game which is angel and mortal.. the angel will be nice, or buy something for his/her mortal.. and during the last day, it would be reveal who is the angel and who is the mortal. quite fun actually, where u dunno who is ur angel and see wat the angel will do to make the mortal happy.. haha.. and surprise! my angel is shin... -_-".. i praised my angel as very sweet and nice in front of him! argh.. haha... then slept quite early tat night.. coz tired ma.. the next morning, we woke up quite on time la.. shin slept in our room and he couldnt wake up.. we really got to drag him up.. haha.. jer is fantastic.. she could make him wake up lor.. then we went to eat breakfast quite late.. haha... our activities got to push back a little... we travel out to our sampan, where it is divided into 3 boats.. abt 14 ppl on 1.. then we set off to some other place where there isnt a land exactly but there are rocks there.. we jump off the boat and started snokelling.. there isnt much things to see actually.. not much difference from sibu tat snokel area, except tat this place is deeper.. i like this compare to sibu 1.. haha.. water is much clearer and cleaner.. after around 1 hr of snokelling, we went back into the sampan.. but then, sm1 dropped their snokel into the sea water and it is rather deep.. have to wait for the diver to search and dive for it.. it took quite sm time also.. delay again.. good tat they found.. we took the sampan to marine park tat time, me and hui sat at the side of the boat and put our feets into the deep blue sea.. haha.. very shiok sia!! look kinda scary like we will fall off the sampan anytime but haha! we got careful de.. after tat, we went to marine park there, have lunch over there which is packed food... not very nice la.. and we bought sm drinks over there.. after tat, we are suppose to snokel.. sm stayed on the jetty and the rest went swimming and some snokel.. haha.. i swim.. without the life jacket and the snokel goggle.. swim here and there, settled down @ a floating area on the sea water.. we feed the fishes and really fun sia.. and my mates were snokelling and taking photo, i throw the bread near him and let him take photo.. haha.. shin and kim again jump off the jetty!! this time shin got caught.. kim didnt.. he always so lucky.. anyway, there is nothing tat perverted lecturer could do.. whahaha! swimming with the fishes is really fun... u feel like a fish and it seems so carefree... after tat, we took the sampan again.. we do the same thing, seat @ the side and put our legs into the ocean again.. haha.. our last stop is sm where @ tioman island, which is not near the side we stay.. is the other end.. snokel around a set of rocks.. tiring sia! the diver say there is shark.. baby shark.. but didnt manage to see it.. and sea turtle too.. but also nv see.. disappointed leh.. i sprain a bit on my back.. but ok la... within a few hrs it doesnt hurt much anymore.. shin dropped his goggle into the water and tried to frame kim.. but no effect.. the diver again dive for it lor.. at least we noe where izzit.. and also got others dropped their snokel.. anyway, after tat we very tired le.. i actually want to go rock fall and enjoy.. but the water a bit dirty la.. and i disappointed again.. hai~~ jer and hui say go back then go back lor.. sad sad.. anyway, we went back to the room, jer bathe, then me, then hui.. spend a bit of time with our *neighbours*.. haha.. they after tat they went to have fun, eat dinner @ other place.. left us @ the resort there.. shin and kim they tot of wat to do @ nite for the performance.. they really cool u noe.. had fun with them.. without much practice, we do a funny show.. itz ok la.. we have fun can le.. other groups were good.. coz they really work hard for it.. lishan they all came back.. which is good.. or else only 5 of us?!?! we will be so poor thing lor.. haha.. after tat, went back to the room, take some stuffs and money and went to the jetty.. changed my hp sim card to my own and tried to call mum... i can get thru!! it is her sim card cannot use.. hai~~ chat for abt 2 mins and hang up le.. went to the beach and seat around.. the rest of them play cards.. wanted to join in, but then, if i join in like not good leh.. coz ppl oredi play halfway.. then the cats move here and there.. make me shout like mad.. very paiseh leh.. i really scared of cats.. took a few photos there, left to go back to the room and rest..
the last day, i couldnt really wake up.. haha.. hui woke me and jer up.. then kim and shin, should be woken up by eleanor ba.. then went to have our breakfast, return the keys and here we are, set off back to sg.. bye bye tioman!! took the boat, slp on it.. amazing huh.. it is much smoother than the bus ride! really! then we went to have lunch @ smwhere between mersing and johore, mg garden restaurant.. the malays tah bao other food when they were somewhere @ the petrol station.. eat liao, went for sm little shopping and bought a ice cream and some food.. tat ice cream is for my mortal de.. hehe.. she really happy wor!! haha.. after tat, when reveal who is angel of the mortal, she keep smiling at me whereever we meet.. haha! then we left for Giant shoppping.. my god ma not there! argh.. such a waste.. i miss her sia.. then, left shin, hui and kim to shop themselves.. haha.. me and jer went around ourselves.. kept a pack of cigarettes for kim.. i rather scared leh.. coz i underage.. but nvm la.. can cross can liao.. hehe.. shin also wan me help him keep 1 pack. but only can take 1 pack per person.. so cannot help him le.. sorry my angel!! then came back to sg, went back to sch and during the trip back, jer very quiet.. so i keep talking to angeline, meiwah and the other guy.. sorry i forget his name.. whahaha!! boon huat? haha.. no idea.. anyway, we took cab home.. hui went home first... rain sia.. very heavy.. then got a slight traffic jam.. finally i'm home!! haha! so happy~~!!!
on the whole, i really enjoy this tioman trip.. wish to go tioman again! even thou i look like charcoal now.. but itz ok.. hehe!
